WHO NEEDS THIS BOOK?
Attorneys: This book contains strategies to help attorneys to add value to their clients' businesses or experiences. In today's competitive legal market, the attorneys who add value set themselves apart. In addition to demonstrative anecdotes and case studies, attorneys will have the necessary statutory references and forms. The author also serves as a mentor, providing practice tips that only come from the school of hard knocks.
Contractors: This resource will equip contractors to deal proactively with issues which commonly arise in the course of construction and remodeling projects. Both litigation and alternative dispute resolution are deconstructed to make them understandable. Tools and techniques are provided in useful, approachable and conversational ways.
Consumers: Homeowners and future homeowners who feel intimidated by the looming prospect of a construction project, whether new or remodeling, will find comfort in this casual resource. Actual, real-like situations are presented and analyzed, and tools to use during the up-front process of negotiating a project make this book immediately useful.
