The 7th Edition of Ladner Pennsylvania Real Estate Law by real estate attorney George Asimos, Esq. is a practical and proven two-volume treatise which has been the standard for Pennsylvania real estate law and practice since 1913.  It has evolved to be the go-to resource for today’s busy real estate professional in need of timely answers to legal issues. Ladner contains case law, discussion, analysis, and forms on all aspects of buying or selling real estate, including: Agreements of Sale, Mortgages, Judgments, Liens, Deeds, Easements, Estates and Tenancies, Title Insurance, Real Estate Licensing and Settlement

BACKGROUND
The first two editions of this work were completed in 1912 and 1941 by the Hon. Grover Cleveland Ladner (1885-1954) when there was no modern real estate practice and form book in Pennsylvania, and grew from his initial efforts in preparing lectures for a course in Conveyancing, to become through the years a recognized standard work.

The Third Edition was completed in 1961 by P. Nicholson Wood (1898-1976), who practiced law with Clark, Ladner, Fortenbaugh & Young of Philadelphia. In recognizing the need for a new revision, the firm of Clark, Ladner, Fortenbaugh & Young sponsored the Revised Fourth Edition in 1979, which was completed by John Makdisi in collaboration with other members of the firm, in a complete revision of the text, extensive annotations, and forms.

With publication of the fifth edition in 2006 the text was renamed LADNER PENNSYLVANIA REAL ESTATE LAW to more accurately reflect the content and purpose of the book.

The sixth edition of this two-volume treatise by renowned real estate author Ronald M. Friedman. LADNER, celebrated its 100th birthday in 2013.

The seventh edition was updated and edited by real estate attorney George Asimos. This publication has been the standard for Pennsylvania real estate law and practice since 1913. It contains case law, discussion, analysis, and forms on all aspects of buying or selling real estate, including: Agreements of Sale, Mortgages, Judgments, Liens, Deeds, Easements, Estates and Tenancies, Title Insurance, Real Estate Licensing and Settlement. By evolving with the law, lawyers, and the real estate practitioners it serves, this well-known and revered real estate publication is as relevant to today's practitioners as it was to the barristers of 1913.
